I was lucky enough to attend this show earlier this month at the ACL studios. KUT posted the whole show, although I imagine they edited it a bit since Britt broke his string during Written In Reverse so the first song of the encore was…Written in Reverse minus the string breakage.

Nightclubs for Kids the Next Big Thing? →
This report has it all, cheesy local reporting, kids dancing, and a shark tank dance floor. I think this might be slightly less disturbing if the kiddie “night club” wasn’t being held at a place called Qua. I think whenever I have kids I would much prefer something like the KEXP kids dance party. Sadly, there is no KEXP in Austin.

Spray on Liquid Glass →
This is about the coolest damn thing I’ve ever heard of. Apparently nanopool (a company out of the UK) has come up with a way to spray on a 100 nm (yes nanometer!) layer of liquid glass. With this coating everything can be easily cleaned, plants don’t require pesticide, and on and on.
Apparently it’s even environmentally friendly, since it’s just silicon and water. ...
