Interesting read on how the Finns have tackled education. I have to admit their public schools sound a lot more like our super expensive private schools. However, given that we are cutting teacher jobs at the current crappy salaries, I don’t know how we could ever achieve something like this in the US.

It was definitely a nice quiet morning to be out walking the dog. It’s always satisfying to be the first one to walk on a fresh snowy sidewalk.
Bodhi didn’t so much care about the snow. He really just wanted to play fetch. Lucky for my tiny snowman Bodhi managed to avoid pummeling him while we played so I could get this shot.
