I just refreshed my Tumblr dashboard and lo and behold that horrible, self-doubt making, tumblarity metric seems to have gone away. Now there is just a count of my posts and followers. No longer will I feel inferior every time I go to write a post…not that a simple number generated by an algorithm that I have no control over would ever make me feel that way…
Seriously though, I think that this feature was silly and, as far as I could ever tell, completely useless as a metric. I much prefer my dashboard without it. Thanks Tumblr!
