This is about the coolest damn thing I’ve ever heard of. Apparently nanopool (a company out of the UK) has come up with a way to spray on a 100 nm (yes nanometer!) layer of liquid glass. With this coating everything can be easily cleaned, plants don’t require pesticide, and on and on.
Apparently it’s even environmentally friendly, since it’s just silicon and water. Read the press release for yourself, but this is just crazy sci-fi stuff happening in the here and now.
